Troubleshoot the most common login problems from blank screens and wrong passwords to locked accounts with step-by-step fixes.
Check system status first. If OVCC is experiencing an outage, sign-in issues may be platform-wide.
Press Ctrl+Shift+R (Windows/Linux) or Cmd+Shift+R (Mac) to force-refresh the page.
Open OVCC in a new private/incognito window. If it works there, the issue is likely a cached file.
Clear your browser cache and cookies: go to browser Settings → Privacy → Clear browsing data. Select Cached images and files and Cookies, then clear.
Disable browser extensions one by one to identify any that may be blocking scripts.
Try a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, or Edge).
Double-check that Caps Lock is not on.
Try typing your password in a text editor first to confirm it is correct, then paste it into the field.
If you are still unable to log in, use "Forgot your password?" to reset it.
If you use a password manager, ensure it is filling in the correct credentials for ovcc.africa.
Accounts lock automatically after 5 failed login attempts as a security measure.
Wait 15 minutes, then try again with the correct password.
Alternatively, use "Forgot your password?" to set a new password and bypass the lockout.
If your account has been suspended for another reason, you will see a notification on the login screen — contact support for assistance.
