## Summary

Online Varsity College Connect (OVCC), known as OVC², was founded in 2025 in South Africa with a mission to bridge the gap between every learner and a clear, verified path from classroom to career. Built for Grade 8–12 learners, the platform starts where most support systems wait too long to start.

## Mission

OVC² is turning potential into provable opportunity. The platform accompanies every learner from Grade 8 through to their first real opportunity — building a verified, living profile that connects them to bursaries, learnerships, and employers who are actually looking for them.

## Why We Exist

South Africa's system leaves too many learners without a bridge:

- **500K+** learners write matric every year with no verified profile beyond results
- **1 in 3** learners are placed in learnerships with no genuine interest match
- **Billions** in bursary funding fails to reach the right learners

OVC² was built to close all three of these gaps by creating a verified learner profile that follows the learner from Grade 8 to their first real opportunity.
